We are a minority-owned business enterprise with headquarters located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA. As the global leader in infrastructure design, the team at Kona Engineering brings over 20 years of experience and the highest levels of customer service with a primary focus in power, telecom, water and gas industries supporting clients nationwide.

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER After working for nearly two decades in engineering and construction industry, Hareesh Kona founded Kona Engineering in the year 2022 with the motto to deliver world-class service. Hareesh has extensive knowledge and experience in engineering, design, construction, business development, strategic planning, program management, project execution and operations. He handled numerous projects in Power, Telecom and other utility sectors. Hareesh is a subject matter expert in Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and has designed several complex underground infrastructure projects during his career. He has a great reputation in the industry as a results-oriented professional with an impeccable track record of success in turning around struggling businesses in achieving excellent results.
Hareesh has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Construction Management. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the following states: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Florida and Washington, DC. He is a member of various national organizations such as ASCE, NCEES, NSPE and IEEE. He currently lives in Lansdale, PA with his wife and two kids.
